Parenting Day

We are so excited! Next Monday, October 24, 2011 is our annual Statewide Parenting Day. Please join us! We will begin the morning with a light breakfast at 8am followed by several interesting and informative seminars. The first, beginning at 8:30, is Gang Prevention and Intervention. This session will be presented by two HPD officers who are our local experts on gang activity. Their knowledge is very impressive and the information is a must for every middle school parent. This session will be followed by a presentation by our SWAT Team entitled Stop Bullying Now. The SWAT Team is serious about ending bullying in our school. You must tune in to hear these young people support and encourage each other! We will wrap up with a special session by our guidance counselor, Dr. Grimaud titled Have You Hugged Your Kid Today?
